Salad Selections!

I have been asked a lot for recipes for my salads but usually I just chuck in whatever I have in the fridge veg wise and then some form of protein.  I often cook extra veg for dinner the night before then add some to lunch the next day to add a bit of variety.

Always add lots of different veg so you have different textures and flavours and don’t just use leaves as this will never fill you up and gets boring! Always add some lean protein as this is what fills you up and keeps you fuller for longer!

Here are some examples to help give you some ideas…

Sautéed courgettes
Sautéed celery
Chopped cherry tomatoes
Sautéed peppers
Feta
Mixed lettuce leaves
Rocket
Extra virgin olive oil
Tuna
Sautéed mushrooms
Mixed spice powder (chilli, paprika, garlic, pepper mix)


Smoked Salmon
Cottage Cheese
Sunflower seeds
Chilli Sauce
Mixed lettuce leaves

Extra virgin olive oil
                                                                                                  

Grated carrots
Japelinos
Green beans
Sweetcorn
Tuna
Spring onions
Chili sauce

Iceberg lettuce


Mixed rocket salad
Cherry tomatoes
Sliced radishes
Sundried tomatoes
Olives
Mini Mozzarella balls
Anchovies
Pickled onion
Artichoke
Roasted red peppers
                   

Red pepper
Sweetcorn
Tuna
Rocket
Cucumber
Mixed leaf salad
